In addition to the recent crazy events, this morning I found hubby exercising; not a strange event for him as he does stretches and a bit of weight training daily to help with muscle mass.
Today's routine was somewhat different. He appeared to be practicing some form of martial arts, which included kicks......but the leg would only go so high. The TV program of choice was "Cheaters". He NEVER watches that type of television. He's an HLN or fox News watcher.
Each day is getting stranger and stranger; but none of it enough to warrant a 911 call. He will not go to get checked out, say's he is fine - feels great, just in a lot of pain in the liver area.
I do not want to find him in a coma but I don't know where to draw the line. He presents well to others, so I know that if he refused to go via 911 they would not force him.

I think - if he's still able to present himself to others in a somewhat normal way - I wouldn't step in.
There are personality changes with HE - keep after him about taking his Lactalose and let him get himself through the day.
I know that my husband needed his independance during his illness - it was the only control he had over his life at the time - when things are going haywire (health) - giving him a little space helped him - and it made my life easier. There can be a lot of anxiety with this disease.
I tried not to question every little 'odd' thing he did. Now when he began seeing people in his car and those same people were trying to open the front door - and scratching their initials in our stainless steel refrigerator - then I stepped in - I called his coordinator.
